There are a ton of trout fishing opportunities in East Tn . In fact, there are so many places to fish there is always a back-up river if the conditions on one are not suitable. I fish the tailwaters and also some remote mountain streams . The Clinch, Holston , Caney Fork, South Holston,  Watauga, and Hiwassee offer the best combination of trout fisheries in the South . Since I am based in Knoxville I primarily fish the Clinch and Lower Holston tailwaters . The South Holston , Watauga, Caney Fork, and Hiwassee rivers are available by booking in advance.
