East Tennessee is blessed with some of the best Smallmouth Bass fishing in the country . I use a variety of tactics to catch them . We can chase them with fly fishing gear or we can use conventional bass gear .  I like to fly fish the hard to access waters  . These less pressured areas are home to the best looking smallmouth in the region . We often end up with a mixed bag catching smallmouth , spotted bass,  largemouth and sometimes white bass .
