A warm welcome to family and friends.
Our farm is dedicated to seeking the Lord through prayer, in peace and rest, away from the demands of our daily routines. Come for a day ... come for a few days ... come and set aside time to pray, fast and seek His direction through all of life's ups and downs.
I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2
Our barn, the cross and the valley are perfect places to sit and reflect in His presence.
Please call to book your stay.

Hockey's Farm is a working cattle property. There are inherent risks and dangers that you need to understand and take appropriate precaution.
Driving
Our local roads are narrow and windy ... please drive carefully.
Our weather is often wet and foggy ... please drive with your lights on.
Cattle and wildlife can spill onto the roads ... please be very vigilant ... brake hard, but don't swerve.
In the wet season, park your car well away from drains, creeks and rivers.
In the dry season, never park your car in long grass.
Wildlife
Dingoes and snakes traverse the area. Some snakes are poisonous. Be vigilant if you venture out into the farm. Wear gumboots or shoes with ankle guards. If you encounter a snake, stand still and wait for it to slither away.
Cane toads came to Queensland in 1935 and are now quite common in the area. Don't touch them. If you'd like to help reduce their numbers, then feel free to use one of our nets and a plastic bag and pop them in the freezer.
Elements
The tropical sun is harsh ... slip, slop, slap, slide and seek.
- slip on a shirt.
