Elgin City Park & Campground
THE RESTROOMS/BATHHOUSE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE WINTER MONTHS. IT WILL REOPEN IN THE SPRING WHEN THE THREAT FOR SEVERE COLD HAS DIMINISHED.
WE APPOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
The Elgin City Park provides plenty of shade and playground equipment for a fun family outing.
There are shelters with picnic tables available on a first-come basis.
Restrooms are available during the warm months.
CAMPGROUNDS
There are also camping spots located east of the park, including a bath/shower house. Each campsite has access to 20, 30, and 50 amp connections.

Campground Fees -3pm to 3pm
Campers -- $15.00/day or $400.00/month
Tents -- $5.00/day
Non-Camper Shower Use -- $1.00/person
Submit Payment Within One (1) Hour of Parking
Elgin Campground Rules
You must check-in at City Hall during normal business hours:
Monday – Friday
8:30-11:30a.m.
12:30-3:30p.m.
If you pull-in outside of business hours, you must call City Hall 402-843-5822 and leave a message with your call back number and you will be called the next business day.
You must fill out a Campground Form and provide contact numbers
You must pay in advance – if you need to leave early, contact City Hall and you can be reimbursed.
Animals on our “Prohibited” list are NOT allowed in our campground area. All others must be on a leash at all times.
If you do have an animal, you are responsible for clean-up of the animal.
Campground area must be kept clean of bottles, trash, and cigarette butts. Be proud of your area.
Do not abuse bathhouse or it will be permanently closed.
The bathhouse is closed during the winter season.
Move all exterior belongings when City maintenance workers are mowing & weed eating at the park.
