💠 2𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐨𝐟 5 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐂 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐒

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

⭕ Malaysia has a comprehensive set of cyber related laws in South East Asia. Since the 1990s, Malaysia has introduced numerous laws to cater for the advent of digital age and the full spectrum of cyber issues.

⭕ This Pillar aims to strengthen cyber security legislation and enforcement

through two strategic initiatives, specifically by:

1️⃣ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬

❇ To enhance and review current legal frameworks to address cybercrime

❇ To study the need to introduce a new law on cyber security

2️⃣ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
