✅ The Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy, spanning until 2024, is structured around five strategic pillars that encompass all facets of cyber security planning and execution. These pillars are guided by the overarching principles of People, Process, and Technology. People represent the focus on enhancing knowledge, skills, and expertise in the digital era workforce. Process involves the development and enforcement of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing cyberspace. Technology pertains to the necessary technological components for effective cyber security implementation.
✅ The strategy emphasizes interrelated and interdependent organizational change and outlines action plans to enhance cyber security across government, business, and society. These action plans will be systematically assessed to gauge their effectiveness. The overarching goals include protecting government and critical national information infrastructure (CNII) networks, systems, and data, as well as safeguarding businesses and citizens, while simultaneously combating cybercrime.
