Coach Matthew Grigg is a proud Texas native who grew up just outside of Dallas. He attended Samford University, where he spent four years competing as a Division I sprinter and hurdler on the track and field team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Strength and Conditioning.

Coach Grigg is happily married and brings his passion for track and field to his role as the Hurdles, Sprints, and Horizontal Jumps Coach at Mountain Brook High School.
