I spent 4 months in costa Rica teaching english to children 4-15. It was such an amazing experience and I learned so much about myself and serving others. I got to use my music experience to connect with them in a differnt way.  

I also got to experience living in another country which is something I will never forget. I was put in leadership positions, guiding girls my age and older to be brave and work hard! It changed how I teach others.

I also learned how to crack open a coconut so thats a party trick under my belt! 

I also went on a 3 week dental humanitarian trip to the Dominican Republic. I was able to give free dental care to families in need who could not afford it.  I was my first big service trip and it truly changed my life. I am so greatful everyday for my life and what I have been given. The people of the DR are so kind and generous. I was so happy to give what I could. 

Also the avocados are as big as my head here! And yes, absolutely delicious!
