My Purpose

I have loved serving since I was a little girl. It has always inspired me and taught me to be a better person. Music has had the same effect. So as Miss Riverton I am continuing my love for service and music with everything I do.

I want to encourage people from all backgrounds to express themselves through the arts. More specifically music. I believe it has the power to encourage change, and bring understanding in each other. It can connect us in ways that we cant even begin to explain.

The work started before I put the crown on. And it definitely wont stop after.

I really love hiking. My favorite hike I've done was in Nicaragua. I backpacked up an active volcano, slept next to a heard of "volcano cows", jumped into a crater lake and then hiked back down. It was so difficult but so incredibly worth it!

Scariest things I've done include:

-Sleeping in a tent in the redwoods in a rain storm with a bear outside of my door.

-Skydiving over the Utah Salt Flats (awesome)

-Scuba diving in the DR with no prior experience

-Waterfall repelling in the rainforest of Costa Rica

-Boarding down a volcano(yes it was active)

I have so many travel plans that I cannot wait for!

I crave learning about different cultures, finding my new favorite food, and growth-oriented challenges! Bring it on!
