What are the products made out of? 

Products are made out of all natural materials such as:

Shea butter

Beeswax

Olive oil

Grapeseed oil

Essential oils

Synthetic fragrance oil *geranium vanilla scent

Flavour oils (lorann’s flavour oils)

Dried herbal oil infusions of:

Lavender buds

Rose petals

Calendula petals

Locally foraged yarrow flower and broadleaf plantain 

*Our geranium vanilla hand salve is scented with a synthetic vanilla scent - this is the only product with artificial scent*

Are your products safe to eat? 

No. The only products safe for the mouth area are the lip products and the herbal infusions. 

This is due to them being made with flavour oils, or slowly infused in carrier oil instead of essential oils, which are concentrated distilled plant matter. 

*Products are not a food, please do not eat*

Are all your products safe to put on the face? 

No.

Scentless products, lip products and herbal infusions products are safe to place on the skin of the face.

*Essential oil products should be placed on the face with caution. Some are irritating to the delicate skin of the face. Essential oil products should never be placed on lips as some of its components are toxic when ingested*

Are your products safe for pets?

Our herbal infusions and scentless products are safe for pets. *Essential oil products should be used with caution. Consult with your vet before using product on animal*

Do your products work on skin conditions? 

Our products are made to moisturize, and help the skin stay in a healthy state. 

*However, products are not intended for medicinal use. If you require treatment for a skin condition, please refer to your physician*

Why is my product crystallizing? Did it go bad?

Our products can crystallize due to the shea butter being whipped and cooled in the manufacturing process. Shea butter crystallization is normal and not due to contamination.
