Please see Canvas for Important Student Resource links. Check "Modules" in Canvas for those links. They should be located at the very top of the modules. See the screenshot below.
Keep in mind that your instructor is available for any questions related to the course and its content, not technology issues. I’ll do what I can to assist you, but you may be on your own for tech issues beyond my know-how and/or control. Any student who is having difficulties with connectivity or technology should contact Moraine Valley’s Help Desk immediately at (708) 608-4357.
Please have your MVCC User ID and password handy at all times. I don't mind if you use your own laptop but Tech Survival 101 has taught me that laptops sometimes get left at home, broken, hijacked, or blindside you with whatever setback might prevent you from having easy access to MVCC Connect or Canvas when needed. That stated, be prepared and not just "save" your user ID and password to said device so you don't have to worry about carrying it around or memorizing it. Trust me on this one, please have your MVCC User ID and password handy at all times.

Please note: If you have a hold on your record which prevents you from dropping classes online, you must either visit the Registration Office
(Building S, Room 111A) or call (708) 974-2110 to drop classes during normal business hours.
Office Hours: I encourage you to reach out to me during my office hours to discuss any questions or concerns you have about your progress in the course. One-on-one conferences will grant you my undivided attention for more time than I can give you during class. It’s best to schedule a time in advance.
Tutoring and Writing Centers: Both online and in-person tutoring and writing consultations are available in the Tutoring Center (located in L200) and the Writing Center (located in A258). I will be working in the Writing Center this spring 2025 semester in case you’d like to stop in for a writing consultation with me along with any other consultant.
