The Museum of African American Collectibles and History
Sponsored by The Black Onyx Guide
From Dr. Seuss Books to Aunt Jemima, we are living in a time were the symbols of the Jim Crow era are being noticed in 2021. So what does this mean? Should we Cancel Culture? Is this an Acknowledgement of a Racist Past? Should we remove such items permanently or keep them as learning tools?
The Museum of African American Collectibles and History we host a presentation on this topic, followed by a public conversation by the attendees. The presentation will include images of artifacts from the museums collection. The link to gain access to this online event will be emailed closer to the event date to those that have registered.
