In Part 19 of my walk following the Staffordshire Way. I walk from the village of Cheddleton and continue to the small car park for Ladderedge Country Park using the Staffordshire Way, In this video I continue from Ladderedge to make a circular walk back to Cheddleton via the full length of the Leek Branch Canal and then a part of the Caldon Canal. We begin by continuing across the A53 and picking up more of Ladderedge Country Park following the Leek Canal Feeder Channel to the Leek Branch Canal. We pick up the towpath and take the short uphill diversion at the Leek Tunnel and follow the canal all the way to Hazlehurst Junction where the Leek Branch joins the Caldon Canal. We also cross the Caldon Canal at Hazelhurst Aqueduct before the junction. We then head back along the Caldon Canal to bridge 38 where we left the canal when walking the Staffs Way in the opposite direction. I finish this walk back at the Flintlock Pub/Restaurant in Cheddleton near the Cheddleton Flint Mill, ready to then return on the Staffordshire Way to Ladderedge
