Part 19 of my walk following the Staffordshire Way. I park the car at Cheddleton again and continue along the Caldon Canal for a short way, then leaving the canal we cross the Leek Branch Canal, Endon Brook and remains of the Churnet Valley Railway Line. We continue to the A53 and onto Ladderedge Country Park getting views of Leek and the Peak District. Finishing at the entrance to Ladderedge Country Park on the A53. I then continue back to Cheddleton following the Leek Branch Canal which can be picked up by following a canal feeder stream across the road which leads to the end of the Leek Branch, I follow the Leek Branch, the full length to Hazlewood Junction where it meets the Caldon Canal, then head back along the Caldon Canal to Cheddleton.
