Part 14 of my walk following the Staffordshire Way. I park the car in Rocester and hurry for the bus back into Uttoxeter, I then pick up the trail where we left it at Centaur Roundabout on the A518 near the railway station. We make our way past the railway station and near Uttoxeter Racecourse and onto the A50, where we meetwith the River Dove. Wepass under the A50 and make a short detour to explore an old bridge. Then through fields and farmland and a shooting range passing the meandering River Dove every now and then along the way. Eventually heading into Rocester, assing Rocester FC and the JCB Academy, a former corn mill and finishing at the Buttercross in Rocester where the High Street meets Ashbourne Road and Mill Street. Before we go we make an extra walk to the nearby JCB World Headquarters for a walk around the lake.
