• 1975-1977 Three sport athlete on the Football, Basketball and Baseball teams at Winfield High School.

• 1976- All Conference Football as Quarterback at Winfield High School.

• 1977- All State Baseball Team as catcher at Winfield High School.

• 1979- WVIAC Freshman of the Year as a catcher at West Virginia State University.

• 1979-1982 Four year starter as catcher on the West Virginia State University Baseball team.

• 1982 – WVIAC Hitter of the Year at West Virginia State University.

• 1982 – NAIA All American as catcher on the West Virginia State University Baseball team.

• 1983 – Named Head Baseball coach, Assistant High School Football Coach, Head 9th Grade Football Coach and Head 9th Grade Basketball Coach at Winfield High School.

• 1985 – Head Baseball Coach of the Winfield High School Class AA State Baseball Champions with record of 29-7.

• 1985 – Assistant Football Coach in charge of Offensive / Defensive backs on the Winfield High School State Championship Football team with a record of 13-0.

• 1983 – 1993 Head Baseball Coach at Winfield High School compiling over 200 plus wins, 8 sectional titles, and 1 Regional and 1 State Championship.

• 2004 – 2024 Head Baseball Coach at Buffalo High School compiling over 350 plus wins, 8 sectional titles, 3 Regional titles and 1 State Championship, and 1 Runner up Championship.

• 2006 Head Baseball Coach of the Buffalo Baseball State Championship team with a record of 29-4
