Wu Wei Meditation — Privacy Policy

Wu Wei Meditation ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
Your first name (entered during onboarding, stored on your device)
Your birthday (optional, stored on your device, used for astrological personalization)
Meditation session data: date, duration, feeling selection, and guide (stored on your device)
Notification preferences (stored on your device)
AI-Powered Features (Wu Wei Pro)
Wu Wei Pro subscribers' meditation and chat interactions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized guide responses. Text you enter in guide chat is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing and is not stored by Wu Wei after the response is generated. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data sent to their API: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app writes your meditation session duration as Mindful Minutes. This data is managed by Apple's HealthKit framework and governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not read any data from Apple Health.
Data Storage
All personal data (name, birthday, session history, preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers. We do not store your data remotely. We cannot access your data.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your data
We do not share your data with advertisers
We do not track you across apps or websites
We do not collect analytics or usage metrics
We do not require an account or email address
Subscriptions
Wu Wei Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
Children
Wu Wei is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights
Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control. You can delete all app data by deleting the app. No request to us is needed.
