Redemption Dashboard

The sheet is protected so you don't accidentally make any changes, but if you would like, you can turn it off. Here you will see your overall summary and helpful data points explained below. Or watch our tutorial video

SUM of Nights: This furthers the breakdown into the different years you have stayed at Hyatts. Points and awards have been combined into the "Free" column.

This takes a summary all the points you've used and the total estimated amount of money you would have spent instead along with free night awards. With this total we calculate the Cent-Per-Point (CPP) value. On the right, we simply add in any points used for Guest of Honor reservations you may want to include.

Unlike the first table, this calculate a truer value of your points because it excludes any free night awards used.

Not only does this include all points and free night awards used, we also estimate the maximum money saved from all the perks and benefits of your stay. This includes Globalist free night parking or upgrades received. You can inflate this however much you want based on the value you feel like you receive.

The final table here summarize the points breakdown by year. This includes free night awards.

Hyatt Stays

Date: Insert the first night of your reservation

Nights: Put in how many nights this reservation is. Note if the reservation is broken up between free night awards and points, then you should do that as well.

Hyatt: The Hyatt hotel name to record

Booking Type: You have 4 self-explanatory options - Award, Cash, Points, Work

Points Used: Total up the points you used for the booking.

Cash Price: What the reservation would have cost in cash. The easiest way is to pretend to rebook the hotel and click through until you see the final cost. The display cost when searching for rooms isn't the real final price.

CPP: This column automatically calculates the Cent-Per-Point value.

Date Booked: The date you made the booking. This provides a reference for the cash price, since those prices can fluctuate.

Max Cash Price: This is more up to you what you want to put in here. I usually add in if I received a room upgrade and other benefits like free parking nights if it's easy to calculate. I do not include meals because that is more ambiguous, but you're more than welcome to calculate however you wish.

Points Rebate: If you stayed during a promotion or something that got you points back (like the World of Hyatt Business card promo) then you can enter it here.

Max CPP: Calculates the all-in maximum value of your points from your Max Cash Price

Notes: Add in anything you want here to keep track of.

GoH Redemptions

Fill this out exactly the same as the above section. This is for people with GoH awards and are also using their own points to book for others.

Globalist Tracker

Use this if you want to plan and track your expected night a year in order to reach Globalist. When the nights appear in your account, you can copy the item from the Planned column into the Current/Actual column. This helps see what you might need to do to reach the 60 nights milestone mark.
