The answer Pad (presented Sept. 2019) can be used on computer or phone. There is an app for the phone that can be download on the main page of TheAnswerPad.

PlayPosit is an easy-to-use tool that lets teachers add interactivity to streaming video content from popular sites like YouTube, LearnZillion, TeacherTube, and Vimeo, among a number of others. For the free version you can only upload MP4 videos and use Youtube. Through a dashboard, teachers can get data about students' use and performance within the embedded assessment items.

• Just think you can add your own questions that will pop up on the screen which can be used two ways.

1. Have the questions pop up and stop the video while showing in front of the class. Then use the question to drive your classroom.

2. Flip classroom model where you have students watch the video at home and answer the questions. Then you can log into PlayPosit and see how students did.

GoFormaitve or Formative: Formative is an assessment tool where students can type, draw, or submit images to demonstrate their understanding.

• Here's and example of how Mike Clouser in Auto Tech is using the "Show Me" function of the site. Where he ask students to color code wiring diagram. Students opened their computer, phone or iPad and completed the task. Mike was able to see how each student performed.

Google Docs

• Free site which you can use to store documents, pdfs, presentations and videos to free space up on your computer.

• This tool allows students to write papers together whether they are in the same class or in the evening from their own homes

• To get access to Google Docs you need to create a Google Account which in turn will give you access to Google Suites. This includes gmail, docs, drive, slides, forms and more. Simple visit google.com
