This 2021 trip advisor winner is know for bringing international flair to a solid foundation of Costa Rican Cuisine, while not Pidgeon-holing itself as a 1-trick-pony. Don Rufino is known for harvesting their ingredients from their own farm, leading to unmatched quality in the area. Their high farming/ranching standards lead to an authentic local ingredient focused menu. Though a little on the pricier side, Don Rufino comes through as a top 2 restaurant in Fortuna, and maybe the whole country of Costa Rica! We highly recommend the Pastor Roasted Octopus, Seasonal Fish, and the Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder. Eat at Don Rufino for an experience that you won't soon forget!
