Seres Jaime Magaña's The Tragic Corrido of Romeo and Lupe relocates Shakespeare's play to a small border town in Texas, where issues of water rights and labor set families at odds. 

Directed by Angelica Pantoja, our Thursday night staged reading will include most of this exciting text, performed primarily in English. All conference participants are encouraged to attend.
