Become a Small Group Facilitator
Facilitator Qualifications
You don't have to be an expert in theology! You just have to be a maturing believer who loves Jesus and people!
Facilitators receive training, equipping, and ongoing support from other facilitators and church leadership.
Must be WTC members.
Must be a WTC member for at least six months.
Attending a facilitator training isn't commitment to being a facilitator. You can go to the training to get a full understanding of what you will do then decide if you want to commit.
Facilitator Commitment
Commit to the season of study for the small groups
Prepare: Curriculum can be preset but facilitators should be prepared when serving
Attendance: it is not just about being present while you are facilitating. You will also need to be present to be developed by others if/when they facilitate the group
Time: Approximately 2-4 hours
Gathering: 2 hours (includes pre and post gathering time)
Preparation: 1-2 hours (This can vary based on the focus of your gathering)
Attend meetings and Trainings
Living a life that lives up to Biblical expectations and reflects the standards of Word Tabernacle. Every facilitator will have to complete a Ministry Steward Covenant Form.
The goal is to be a main facilitator and point of contact for groups while also developing new facilitator who can support the work. Having partner makes the load much easier.

Attend or watch the Small Group Facilitator Training.
Complete Small Group Information Forms
Complete a Ministry Steward Covenant Form
Become Verified and have your Small Group published
