Topical Problems

Participants may compete as a team with three different grade levels (playing up permitted) or as an individual. See State qualification differences.

Topical problems are multiple choice. Teams and individuals have 30 minutes to complete 15 questions for Part A, then a short break and 30 minutes for Part B.

Teams may use an SAT approved calculator or Desmos Graphing Calculator.

Scoring: 5 pts for correct answer, 0 points for incorrect and 1 point for blank.
