The aim of the conference is to review the current dilemmas faced by representatives of the academic society and the management staff of organizations. During the conference, theoretical and practical knowledge about the functioning of enterprises and institutions in the digital society will be presented, as well as a reflection on what challenges, threats and perspectives in the modern world they will face.
The results of scientific research supported by practical experience regarding the implementation of IT tools are more often used to improve and perfect the concept of organization management. Particular attention is also drawn to the impact of current events in the country and in the world on the new challenges that arise in human capital management. Models of the functioning of consumers, markets, states and the global economy are also changing.
The proposed thematic areas covered during the conference include:
- e-services and social change,
- enterprise management in the era of technological revolution,
- digital transformation of organizational culture,
- challenges facing enterprises networking,
- data integration processes (especially personal data) and their use in economic processes,
- management of employees' competences in the age of knowledge society,
- the impact of digitization of business processes on the development of the ICT sector.
The intention of the conference organizers is a multifaceted and interdisciplinary review of these issues and stimulation of scientific discourse, therefore the thematic panels were associated with the planned discussion.
The conference is aimed at representatives of social sciences and humanities as well as management practitioners interested in the proposed subject.
1. E-services and social change
E-services can play, or, as some researchers believe, already play a very important role in many areas of social life. They serve to meet the needs, both basic and higher order. The aim of the panel is a holistic analysis of the situation of the society during the era of widespread digitization.
2. Human capital management in the era of technological revolution
The increasing availability of information, the technological advancement of its flow and the digitized way of collecting huge amounts of data constitute an indispensable element of managing organizations in the 21st century. Nevertheless, human capital is still the most valuable resource of enterprises, used to make decisions at every management level. The aim of the panel is to present various solutions in the field of human resource management in a modern enterprise and to consider the consequences of their use.
3. Digital society and the economics of enterprises
Digital transformation is crucial for the economy of enterprises, it creates great opportunities for it, but also challenges. Digital technologies that may and sometimes already have an impact on the functioning of enterprises include various mobile applications, social platforms, the Internet of Things, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. The aim of the panel is to analyze the impact of all these technologies and innovations on the organization of work and management in enterprises.
4. Development of digital organizational culture in business - opportunities and threats
Organizational culture is one of the most important sources of competitiveness and increase in corporate profits. Specialists of management sciences, anthropology, sociology, general psychology, social psychology, ethics and cultural studies indicate the opportunities and threats posed by the changes currently taking place in the organizational culture of business, commonly referred to as digital transformation. The aim of the panel is their multilateral evaluation.
5. Students panel - Organizations in the digital era
The conference is also aimed at students. The speakers will discuss on the usage of new technologies in managing organizations. Students can therefore submit articles on the contemporary changes in the economy, science and society. The aim of the panel is to present work and research achievements of young scientists.
