GeoGebra (geogebra.org) is an amazing free tool for your students to explore math and science.
The WRNN is sponsoring a free, virtual, asynchronous GeoGebra Workshop for the Noyce community. Building on the success of CSUN's GeoGebra Summer Institute, Scholars will have access to self-paced learning materials that introduce the power of GeoGebra in teaching and learning mathematics and science. The online workshop will consist of five modules: (1) GeoGebra basics, (2) applications for algebra instruction, (3) dynamic geometry explorations, (4) statistics and data visualization, and (5) physics applications. These modules will highlight practical classroom uses, emphasize visualization of complex ideas, and model how free, open-source tools can broaden access to high-quality STEM learning.
Would you like to be informed about the modules as they are completed and ready for use? Please sign up here.
