Western Regional Noyce Network Asynchronous GeoGebra Institute
GeoGebra (geogebra.org) is an amazing free tool for your students to explore math and science. Create dynamic mathematical objects to demonstrate variation and changes over time.
Want to learn more? The WRNN GeoGebra Institute is sponsoring this free asynchronous course!
A virtual, asynchronous GeoGebra Workshop for Noyce Scholars. Building on the success of the CSUN GeoGebra Summer Institute, Scholars will have access to self-paced learning materials that introduce the power of GeoGebra in teaching and learning mathematics. The online workshop will consist of five modules: (1) GeoGebra Basics, (2) applications for algebra instruction, (3) dynamic geometry explorations, (4) statistics and data visualization, and (5) physics applications. These modules will highlight practical classroom uses, emphasize visualization of complex ideas, and model how free, open-source tools can broaden access to high-quality STEM learning.
