Assessments
Assessments are necessaary in all lesson planning. How will you establish if your students met the goals and objectives you are setting for them with these lessons? Below is a basic guideline on what you might look for in the different choice options provided from our lesson examples. There is also a more formal rubric for writing as well.
General Assessment
Simple Assessment- Checking for understanding
Choice 1:
Freewriting
Required senses included
Student followed directions and included all of the required senses in their free-write.
Student did not follow directions and did not include the required senses in their free-write.
Focused on required topic
Student’s free-write focuses on required topic.
Student’s free-write does not focus on required topic.
Choice 2:
Sketchnotes
