ANNIVERSARY SEALS SINCE 2021
The founding anniversary of the Writers Philippines Organization has always been observed. Every July, the celebration lasts anywhere from a week to a month. Since 2021, the organization has adhered to a theme for entertainment reasons, which is frequently offered by the Board of Directors. As a result, the group creates a customized organization seal to be used throughout the anniversary celebration.
4th Anniversary Official Seal: The Neverending Adventure
The organization's 4th anniversary was celebrated for the entire month of July 2021, with the theme "The Neverending Adventure," a line inspired by the anime "Fairy Tail." Angel Aimee Andeza designed the distinctive seal. It was a blend of the Fairy Tail guild mark and the official seal of the organization. During the 2021 founding anniversary, the Editors Department (then-named as Mermeditors) took home the championship while the Critics Department (Sabertooth Devils) landed 1st runner-up, and the Admins Department (Admins' Tower) ended as 2nd runner-up. The celebration was put on halt in its third week due to an issue which was solved after the event.
Several awards and awardees during this celebration include Critic Euphie and Critic Ranji as the Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2021, Admin Blanco and Editor Zephyra ended as Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2021 1st runner-up, and Admin Angel and Critic Sena finished Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2021 as 2nd runner-ups; Founder Ayel Greigh (Best Magic Council Member | Ambassador), Critic Silver Mist (Best Saint Wizard | Leader), Editor Zephyra Wisteria (Best S-Class Wizard | Co-leader), and Admin Angel Andeza (Best Dragon Slayer | Secretary).
Minor awards include Best Guild Logo (awarded to Admins Department) and Best Guild Name (awarded to Critics Department) which were both done via public voting. The Greigh Family was acknowledged as The Best Family over Kudos Family in 4th anniversary celebration.
5th Anniversary Official Seal: Hoist the Colors
The 5th anniversary of the organization was celebrated from July 10 to 24 with the theme inspired from the film series "Pirates of the Caribbean" — Hoist the Colors which is a custom of raising the flag of a ship, or simply means to set forth. Gea Grace Layahin created the special seal to appear like a pirate flag symbol while appearing like the organization's logo at the same time. Critics Department (then-named as The Golden Serpent) was announced victor, defeating the ships of Admins Department (The Archon's Horizon) that landed 1st runner-up, and Editors Department (Fortune Galley) that ended as 2nd runner-up.
Critic Ivi and Admin Rizalie were crowned Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2022, besting Admin Blanco and Critic Eli (Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2022 1st runner-up), and Editor Evie and Editor Shia (Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2022 2nd runner-up); Founder Ayel Greigh (Best Royal Pirate | Director), Admin Linzzy Sorryeal (Best Captain | Head), and Admin Blanco (Best Quartermaster | Co-head) were the recipient of special awards as well as Angel Aimee Andeza, the 6th Kalyteros Prize Awardee.
Best Ship Name and Best Flag (Department Category) was both awarded to Critics Department and Editors Department as they tied during the public poll conducted from July 10-17. Best Port Name and Best Flag (Team Category) was given to Journalists Team, whereas Best Port Name and Best Flag (Sub-team Category) was granted to Instagram Team. The Kudos Family snatched the Best Family award from Greigh Family this year.
6th Anniversary Official Seal: No Extra Lives
The organization's 6th anniversary celebration took inspiration from the hit Manga and Netflix series, "Alice in Borderland," with the theme "No Extra Lives." The celebration lasted from July 1 to 31, 2023. The official seal is a creation of Deputy President Gea Grace Layahin, depicting a card based off of the series and the organization's seal. The Critics Department (Red Team) secured their back-to-back championship with +40 visa points, 8 points greater than Admins Department (Blue Team) with +32 (1st runner-up), and Editors Department (Yellow Team) with +10 (2nd runner-up).
Editor Kazura and Critic Love were crowned as Mr. and Ms. WritersPH 2023; Admin Magma and Admin Angge as 1st runner-ups, and Critic Kairo and Editor Judy as 2nd runner-ups. Founder Ayel earned his third consecutive Best Citizen-Director of the 6th Anniversary, Critic Head Silver regained her Best Citizen-Head and Best Face Card Game for her "Ragged Quads, Queen of Hearts Game", Critic Co-head Euphie received Best Co-head-Citizen, and former Primary Secretary and now guest member Joseph "Ivan" Francisco was awarded with Best Dealer-Guest. Former Deputy President and Director of Internal Affairs Jonielyn "Jonie" Fermin Pascual was named as the 7th Kalyteros Prize Awardee.
Admin M, Critic Love, Editor Judy, and Journalist Anni were hailed as Best Players of the 6th Anniversary Celebration.
THE KALYTEROS PRIZE AWARD
The highest award given to a member of the Writers Philippines Organization to acknowledge their outstanding performance and service during their time as a member. First given in April 24, 2021 to the third Main Ambassador Kudos Andeng, second Main Ambassador and first Head Ambassador Jess, and former Critic Ambassador Kudos Jai. Then later on awarded to former Admin Ambassador Kath and former Head of Moderators Angel Charmaine in April 30, 2021 after their resignation. During the 5th Anniversary, Angel Aimee Andeza received this distinction.
The most recent recipient of this award is Jonielyn Pascual Fermin. She was named as the 7th Kalyteros Prize Awardee during the awarding ceremony of the organization's 6th anniversary. She served as a Critic, WritersPH Trusted Personnel, and the second Head Ambassador (Deputy President, Director of Internal Affairs) of Writers Philippines. After stepping down, she briefly managed the Moderators Team as a Head before officially resigning as a member.
ORGANIZATION TOP MEMBERS SINCE 2021
Every month since 2018 (unless the organization is on a break), the organization ranks the most active members of the organization. However, it was only recorded and done consistently in 2021 to acknowledge the top performing member based on their activeness and trustworthiness, daily and weekly attendances, member evaluation, and Directors' mark. The record below shows the names of the members that topped the ranking since 2021 - present.
Currently, former Head Admin Lynn Marie Soldevilla (Linzzy Sorryeal) and Head Editor Shia Auclair holds the record for the most number of months a member has occupied the top spot in the organization's ranking (5x), while Blessie Mae Gaspar (Silver Mist) is just next to them with four (4), and former Head of Admins Department Pauleen Salvatierra (Sunny) with three (3). In May 2023, Head Editor Shia breaks record as the only member to top the ranking for three consecutive months. She later on break this record after claiming the top spot for the fourth consecutive month in June 2023.
The Admins Department topped the ranking 10-times, Editors Department topped for 7 times, and Critics topped for 6-times.
