Write Oceania

At the Center for Pacific Islands Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, we believe that all of our students have the potential to become strong critical thinkers and analytical writers. With this in mind, we have established Write Oceania, a dedicated writing program that guides and supports students as writers across the Pacific Islands Studies curriculum. Write Oceania provides this writing-related support to undergraduate, graduate, and certificate students in the form of workshops, resources, mentoring, and more. At the heart of this collaborative program is a dedication to Pacific Island ways of researching and communicating through writing.
