How to play on a PC using PlayStation 4 Controller

Step 1: Update your Bluetooth drivers to the latest version by visiting the manufacturer's website.

Step 2: After updating Bluetooth drivers if you have Windows 10 or Windows 11 go to the bottom right corner and click on the notification symbol click on 'Expand' then click on "Bluetooth" to turn it on see the below image

Step 3: Right-click on the Bluetooth icon which can see in the above image and go to settings 

Step 4: Then click on the plus button (Add Bluetooth or other devices)

Step 5: Click on the first option which is Bluetooth (Mice, keyboard, pen or audio and other kinds of Bluetooth devices)

Step 6: Now hold Share button and PlayStation symbol button on your PlayStation 4 Controller also known as DUALSHOCK 4 until you see the light on your controller flashing.

Step 7: Now you should be able to see the Wireless controller in your Bluetooth section click on it and it should automatically connect to your Bluetooth on your PC. (Light bar turns solid color when paired successfully)

Step 8: Open any game that has PS4 Controller compatibility such as Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 or Need For Speed The Run or similar. If the game is not compatible with PS4 Controller then you need to Download DS4Windows, Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0.17, and Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable.

 Step 9: Once you finish downloading install Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0.17 and Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2015-2019. Next, extract DS4Windows into a folder and run DS4 Windows as administrator then choose where you want to save your profile data.

 Step 10: Install Vigembus Driver by clicking Install.

 Step 11: Click Start in the DS4Windows now you should see your controller connected and start any game with DS4Window minimized.
