We take pride in the care and management of our sheep from birth through placement, emphasizing health, sound structure, and calm dispositions. Our commitment to quality has allowed us to successfully ship Babydoll Southdown sheep nationwide, with animals placed in homes from Washington State all the way to Texas. Whether for breeding, fiber, or enjoyment, our Babydoll Southdowns reflect our dedication to responsible and reputable livestock stewardship.
We typically begin lambing in early February, with lambs ready to go to their new homes in May or June. If you are interested in purchasing ewes or ram lambs, please contact us today for availability and additional information.
We have over 40 ewes, so they are not all pictured individually. However, the images shown here give you a good representation of our flock and our ladies.

Breed History
Babydoll Southdown Sheep trace their roots back to the historic Southdown sheep of England, one of the oldest and most influential sheep breeds in the world. Originally developed in the South Downs of Sussex, England, these sheep were prized for their excellent meat quality, hardiness, and adaptability. Over time, modern Southdowns were bred taller, while the original smaller-framed sheep were preserved as the Babydoll Southdown.
Today, Babydoll Southdowns are recognized as a heritage breed known for their compact size, gentle temperament, and classic wooly appearance. They continue to be valued for small farms, conservation grazing, fiber production, and educational programs, helping preserve a living piece of agricultural history.
