Book Week Term 3: Our second hand book sale was a great success! We made over $550, which means we recycled over 550 books! All leftover books were donated to local schools and organisations in need.

Christie from the Wembley Waste Warriors has kindly donated 3 bins to our Y4 cohort to trial a 3-bin system in the classroom. We have processes and bin monitors in place. Let's see how we go!

Term 3: The amazing Year 4 cohort have written letters to the principal team, Wembley Waste Warriors and our captains to persuade us to improve our bin system at WPS. Stay tuned for our response!
Term 2: Mason and Jacob created bins and signage for our disco. This made sure that CDS recyclables could be collected and kept out of landfill. Remember, you can select Wembley Primary School as a donation partner when you recycle your bottles and cans!
