As always, when finding articles on the internet, consider the reputation of the source and possible biases of the authors. Many US news sites also have an international section, but please keep in mind this class is Citizenship in the Nation, and therefore we are only considering national news articles. Given this, make sure you check news sources and articles to ensure it is US news! If you have any questions on any source or article, please do not hesitate to EMAIL ME (bslavoie@wpi.edu) and ask!
Requirement 5:

Requirement 7:
Do TWO of the following (with your parent's permission) and share with your counselor what you have learned:
NOTE: Virtual tours DO count in some scenarios. Please document it and take a picture of your screen during the virtual tour, and one showing the facility in which you are touring. If you have any questions or doubts, PLEASE EMAIL ME.
NOTE: If you have visited a place that satisfies one of the requirements WHILE YOU HAVE BEEN IN SCOUTING, that DOES count. Due to the fact this is an MBU and time is limited. Please provide pictures (if possible) and try to give me your best effort.

If I discussed something different with you before, during, or after class Session 1, and you do not see it listed in this document, please EMAIL ME (bslavoie@wpi.edu). I am happy to make accommodations and acceptions where appropriate.
If you are unsure if a certain topic, event, etc. will fit the criteria for a requirement, please EMAIL ME (bslavoie@wpi.edu)! I will allow what I can in order to accommodate appropriately.
