After our regeneration process we ended up with even better carbon capture! We made some adjustments that we wont share just yet, but we learned a lot during this run. The calibration was a bit off but this is still undeniable proof of the effectivness of our process. Stay tuned for our next update!

Carbon dioxide has been captured! There was a bit of an unsteady start due to issues with our rotameter, but it we worked it out fairly quickly. We also got to see the resin reach capacity at the end as well. Now that we know that the treatment process works we can proceed to preparing larger samples for full scale capture. Next up, testing regeneration!

After our initial treatment attempts we have narrowed down on a method to treat the resin that provides consistent and clean results. We hope to scale this up in the coming weeks to produce larger treated samples for our testing.

This was a great opportunity to spread the word of ChemE cube accross campus.

Everyone on the lab team was hands on working out our treatment process of treating our resin samples.

We had a great time getting to speak to new students and got a lot of people interested in working on ChemE Cube!
