My research focuses on developing decision-support tools that assist regions in meeting their development objectives. To achieve this, our work spans two main themes. Firstly, we develop tools to identify industries that align with regions' goals for environmental, social, andeconomic development. Secondly, we investigate the factors driving the competitiveness of specific economic activities. This enables the assessment of how feasible development routes are and which interventions would be required to support specific industries.
