As we step into 2026, we are excited to officially begin the journey of the WorldVeg Biologicals Consortium. Last year was a foundational period for us, the enthusiasm, interest, and shared vision shown by our founding partners in 2025 have laid a strong platform for what lies ahead. In 2026, we move from concept to action, starting to build evidence, connections, and practical pathways that will drive the adoption of biological solutions in vegetable production.
The call to action from WorldVeg plant pathologist, Lourena Maxwell, was more of a rallying cry. Addressing more than 100 delegates at the inaugural WorldVeg-Biologicals Consortium she asked: “If not us, then who? If not now, then when? If not biologicals, then what?”
