These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the World Monitor iOS app, backend services, documentation, content, subscriptions, and related features (collectively, "World Monitor", the "App", or the "Service"). World Monitor is operated by AppMerge ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using World Monitor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

## What World Monitor Provides

World Monitor provides informational tools for global news, live maps, risk signals, public intelligence layers, market context, live streams, briefings, saved monitors, and Premium analysis.

The Service may include content derived from public datasets, third-party providers, news sources, live camera catalogs, video platforms, map services, market data providers, and AI-assisted analysis.

World Monitor is for informational and situational-awareness purposes only.

## Not Professional, Emergency, Investment, Legal, or Safety Advice

World Monitor does not provide professional advice. Content in the App must not be treated as:

- Emergency warning or emergency dispatch information

- Financial, investment, trading, tax, or accounting advice

- Legal advice

- Medical or public-health advice

- Security, travel, military, or operational instruction

- A guarantee that an event is accurate, complete, current, or safe to act on

You are responsible for verifying information with official, primary, and qualified sources before making decisions. Do not rely on World Monitor as your only source for emergency, safety, financial, or operational decisions.

## Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use World Monitor, or older if required by the laws of your country. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

## App Store Terms and Apple EULA

If you obtained World Monitor through the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom EULA is provided.

Apple is not responsible for World Monitor's content, support, maintenance, warranties, claims, or third-party disputes, except as required by applicable law or Apple's own terms.

## Premium Subscriptions

World Monitor may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly, yearly, or other plans shown in the App. Subscription features may include Premium layers, AI briefs, monitors, market intelligence, workflows, or other paid features described in the App.

Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Prices, billing periods, trial availability, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by country, currency, offer, or campaign.

Unless canceled, auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically. Your Apple account may be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We may change subscription features, prices, plans, or availability as permitted by Apple and applicable law. If Apple requires consent for a price increase or material change, the App Store process will apply.

## Free Features, Trials, and Feature Availability

Some features may be free, limited, trial-based, region-limited, usage-limited, or Premium-only. We may add, remove, modify, rate-limit, or discontinue features at any time.

Live data can be delayed, cached, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. External providers may change availability without notice.

## User Inputs and Saved Monitors

If the App allows you to create monitors, save triggers, choose channels, configure variants, mark items as seen, or submit other settings, you are responsible for the information you provide.

You agree not to submit illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, sensitive personal, or confidential third-party information. You grant us the limited right to process your inputs as needed to provide and operate the Service.

## Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Use World Monitor for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity

- Use the Service to target, harass, stalk, surveil, or harm individuals

- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, backend, APIs, security, rate limits, or infrastructure

- Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, bulk download, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data except as expressly permitted

- Remove attribution, copyright, provider notices, source links, map notices, or license information

- Misrepresent World Monitor content as official government, emergency, market, or safety guidance

- Use the Service to develop competing products or unauthorized commercial datasets

- Attempt to bypass Premium gates, subscription checks, paywalls, or entitlement systems

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe these Terms are violated or if needed to protect the Service.

## Third-Party Content and Services

World Monitor may display, link, summarize, embed, or route you to third-party content and services, including news articles, public datasets, maps, market data, YouTube videos, live cameras, and external websites.

Third-party content belongs to its respective owners and may be subject to separate terms, licenses, privacy policies, and availability limits. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, errors, outages, policies, or actions.

## Intellectual Property

World Monitor, including its app design, software, branding, compiled content, workflows, documentation, and original analysis, is owned by AppMerge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use World Monitor for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules.

No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.

## Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information when you use World Monitor. By using the Service, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

## Disclaimers

World Monitor is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that any signal, alert, article, map marker, market value, live stream, forecast, scenario, or AI-generated summary is accurate, complete, timely, or appropriate for your intended use.

## Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppMerge, World Monitor, and their owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for losses arising from reliance on data, outages, errors, delayed signals, third-party content, subscription issues, or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for World Monitor during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

## Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AppMerge, World Monitor, and their owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

## Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or on our website.

Your continued use of World Monitor after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

## Termination

You may stop using World Monitor at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service.

Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must manage cancellation through your Apple account settings.

## Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of World Monitor, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
