There have been reports of a lizardmen settlement across the lake in the swamp region South of Scribel City. Their village is fenced off and seems to thrive through hunting fish. The lizardmen themselves appear to have green/brown skin and a crocodile-like jaw.
These lizardmen appear to be well-versed in slime hunting, perhaps being a valuable potential ally against the incoming slime horde. There are four known members of the tribe that have been reported, Urqia and Shrez, who are the chieftain's sisters, Draz who is Urqia's son and Irnaz who is the vice-chieftain.
Alarmingly, it has been reported that the chieftain and vice-chieftain have gone missing:
'A while ago the chieftain went to talk to the Marashaw tribe, as he had done so many times before, often discussing territory and resources. But this time, when the chieftain went to the Marashaw settlement for the meeting, he and his party never returned.
The Marashaw, when questioned, denied any involvement with the chieftain's disappearance. Their tribe insisted that the slime horde was the cause and that there's nought to be done. The vice-chieftain went to investigate the disappearance, then he too disappeared.'
South-East of Scribel City(two days away on foot) lies another slightly different lizardmen settlement. It has been reported that they have crude hut-like housing, are covered in traps and have cages full of humans, due to reportedly enjoying eating human meat. The skin of these particular lizardmen is purply-blue in colour and tough as leather. Their legs are reported to be strong. It was also said that the meat of these lizardmen's legs and their skin can be eaten and tastes like chicken...
