To claim a certificate, you will need to do the following
Attend at least one talk from each session of the conference
Ask at least one (serious) question in the conference (i.e. ask the speaker a question)
To claim this prize, you will fill in a form which will ask the following questions:
What name would you like to appear on the certificate?
Contact information (i.e. an email address for us to contact you on, also optionally the preferred name you would like us to contact you with)
Which talks did you attend? and what question did you ask during the conference?
Any one of the following:
What question was asked during the conference (perhaps by someone else) which was interesting/insightful?
What answer was given during the conference (perhaps by someone else) which you think was interesting/insightful?
What did you think of the topics in the conference, in particular, please answer at least one of the following
What topic was missing from the conference that you would have like to have been included?
What is something you would have like to have heard more about?
Which talk/talks did you find the most informative/interesting/useful and why?
optional: What is a research topic that you think relates to the topic of this conference? We plan on publishing this list to the website (although, we won't add your name to the question unless you give us permission)
optional: Do you have any feedback/comments/suggestions for the conference organisers
Please use the following Google forms link to apply for the certificate. Moreover, please complete this within 3 days of the conference if possible
Alternatively, if there is an issue with the form, you can contact the organiser Alex Bishop (whose personal website is linked at the bottom of this page)
Certificates will be delivered within 7 days of the conference concluding.
After receiving a few questions about the use of the word 'prize', I thought we might as well have one.
Inspired by the original advertisement for World of GroupCraft, the prize will be 1 coffee or 1 tea or equivalent.
How to claim (from Alex Bishop):
After filling out the above form, provide a photo of yourself with a coffee or tea or similar which will be placed on the website to Alex Bishop via email (see the personal website linked at the bottom of this page).
The email you contact Alex Bishop on must be the same as the email you submitted the above form
Please keep the price of this drink below 10€ (we don't have any sponsors, Alex is just doing this for a laugh)
DO NOT contact any of the organisers other than Alex Bishop about this prize
LIMIT: please claim this prize within 7 days of the conference
