Welcome to International Education Month!
Information about International Education Month and The Summit Series Coming Soon....
Vision:
By building bridges between people and their cultures across the world, we can develop mutual understanding and friendships, and inspire trust, respect, and peace in communities and the world.
Concepts:
By the Governor’s Proclamation, the month of November is designated as International Education Month in elementary, middle and high schools and colleges in the state of Maryland. Using the arts as the international language, we have created this website to promote the importance of international education for everyone. Educators and community leaders can use the resources on this website to focus on the importance of knowing and building deeper understanding of the world, and the people and cultures, not only throughout the world, but within our diverse communities here in Maryland.
This month will challenge us to listen, observe, share, and learn together, thus developing mutual understanding and unity within the state’s communities and throughout the world. Please use this website, with the shared ideas and experiences, to highlight International Education Month for students at all levels, for public experiences, and for grassroots efforts.
