Primeiro Workshop Pernambucano de Combinatória Extremal

O Workshop Pernambucano de Combinatória Extremal tem por objetivo reunir os pesquisadores brasileiros da área e convidados internacionais. O evento contará com com quatro palestras plenárias (em inglês) de 13 a 16 de fevereiro às 9:00, ministradas, em ordem, por Julian Sahasrabudhe (Cambridge), Marius Tiba (Oxford), Rob Morris (IMPA) e Guilherme Mota (USP). Além disso, teremos duas palestras de divulgação (em português) especialmente dedicadas aos estudantes curiosos, ministradas nos dias 13 e 14 de fevereiro às 9:50 por Pedro Araújo (ICS- Praga) e Fabio Botler (UFRJ e ex-aluno da UFPE). O restante do evento será dedicado à apresentação e discussão de problemas em aberto.

The Pernambuco Workshop on Extremal Combinatorics aims to bring together Brazilian researchers in the area and invited foreign researchers. The workshop will feature four plenary lectures aimed to the whole community from February 13th to 16th at 9:00 am given by Julian Sahasrabudhe (Cambridge), Marius Tiba (Oxford), Rob Morris (IMPA) and Guilherme Mota (USP) (see the schedule). Moreover, there will also be two lectures (in portuguese) especially dedicated to curious students, on February 13th and 14th at 9:50 am, by Pedro Araújo (ICS-Prague) and Fábio Botler (UFRJ and former UFPE student). In the remainder of the event there will be presentations and discussion of open problems.
