For participants travelling from southern Italy, the city is easily accessible by direct high-speed trains (Frecciarossa) available on the Trenitalia website, as well as by other convenient options that may require at least one change. For those coming from north, Bolzano is well connected by direct trains (both high-speed and regional). The closest airports for intercontinental flights are Milan and Munich, while Bergamo and Verona are convenient options for international flights. From any of these airports, Bolzano can be reached comfortably by train, as described above.
