The workshop Mean‑Field Models, Optimal Control and Applications in Economics and Social Sciences focuses on recent advances in mean‑field models and optimal control, with particular emphasis on their formulation through partial differential equations. Topics include transport and continuity equations, conservation laws, and mean‑field games in both deterministic and stochastic settings.
Among applications to economics and social sciences, special attention is given to opinion dynamics, urban planning, resource allocation, financial markets, traffic models, and collective behaviour. The event aims to promote scientific exchange among researchers working in mathematical analysis, control theory, probability, and computational modelling.
The workshop is structured over four days and includes invited speakers as well as short communications.
