Q-bio Days 2024 1st WS: 8th January 2024

International Workshop on Multi-scale Biological Plasticity

Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo

We also have a joint event, "Information Physics in Living Systems," on the 9th at the same venue.  You can register both events from the registration link above.

 Target of Workshop

This workshop aims to bring researchers from diverse fields together who are interested in biological plasticity. One of the key features of biological systems is their ability to plastically change physiological states and phenotypes in context-dependent manners while maintaining the core components’ homeostasis. Through dialogs among researchers of quantitative biology and related fields studying adaptation, development, and evolution, we hope to gain deeper understanding of the fundamental principles underlying biological plasticity.

Although participation is free, prior registration is required due to space constraints at the venue. Registration will close once the number of pre-registered participants reaches the maximum.

This workshop will be held as a part of QBio Days 2024.
