1. Terms of Use & Disclaimer (Must Accept Before Registration)
By registering on Workio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Before users register, they should agree to Terms of Use that include:
a. Workio does NOT verify users:
"Workio does not conduct background checks or verify the authenticity of users. Use caution when engaging with others."
b. Users are responsible for their own safety:
"Workio is a directory platform. We are not responsible for interactions between users, business deals, or disputes."
c. Report suspicious activities:
"If you encounter fraud, harassment, or any suspicious activity, report it immediately using the ‘Report User’ feature."
d. No illegal, harmful, or misleading content:
"Users must not post false information, scam offers, or inappropriate content. Violators will be banned."
e. Do not share sensitive information publicly:
"Avoid sharing financial details, personal addresses, or other sensitive data in public profiles."
a. "Always verify before making payments or hiring someone. Workio is not responsible for fraudulent activities."
b. "Meet in safe, public places when dealing with new users. Avoid sharing personal details unless necessary."
⚠ For messaging features:
"Do not share sensitive or financial details via Workio messages. If someone asks for money upfront, it might be a scam."
To prevent harassment, fraud, or misuse, Workio has:
a. "Report User" Button in that User profile (Flag fraudulent or suspicious profiles).
b. "Block User" Feature in Messaging (Prevent further communication with scammers or harassers).
c. Admin Review System (Admins can review reports and suspend accounts)
Workio can warn users about common scams, such as:
i. "Avoid paying upfront for services unless verified."
ii. "If someone refuses a video call or meeting, be cautious."
iii. "Too good to be true? Be careful of fake offers or unrealistic prices."
