Welcome to Workio! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("Workio" or "the App").

1. Information We Collect

When you use Workio, we may collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

Name
Email address
Contact details (phone number)
Location (address, country)
Skills or profession

Users provide their country information manually. Workio does not collect real-time GPS or network location data.

b. Usage Information

Profile views and interactions
Messages sent and received
Favorite users
Help and support forum

c. Device & Log Information

IP address
Device type
Operating system
App usage statistics

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:
i. Enable user registration and login
ii. Display profiles to help users connect
iii. Facilitate messaging between users
iv. Improve and personalize the user experience
v. Provide customer support
vi. Monitor and prevent fraud or misuse

We retain user data for as long as the account is active. If a user deletes their account, we permanently delete all associated data within 7 days.

3. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal data. However, we rely on third-party service Firebase providers to store and process certain information necessary for the app’s functionality. These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage users to review.

However, we may share information with:
i. Firebase (for authentication, database, and notifications)
ii. Law enforcement (if required by law)
iii. Service providers (for analytics, hosting, or app functionality)

Note: In addition to Firebase, Workio may use third-party services for analytics, hosting, or push notifications. These services may collect information as described in their privacy policies. For Firebase, see Google’s Privacy Policy below.

Messages are stored temporarily in Firebase until they are marked as read, after which they are deleted. For offline access, messages are saved in the user's local database (SQLite).

We take security seriously. We use:
1. Encryption for data storage and transmission
2. Restricted access to personal data
3. Regular security updates

However, no online service is 100% secure, so use Workio responsibly.

5. How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data by:
1. Going to Profile > Delete
2. Contacting support at futuretechware@gmail.com

6. Children's Privacy

Workio is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the app.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. If we do, we will notify you through the app or email.
