Real-time, low-cost, and portable ECG Device

A "Real-time, low-cost, and portable ECG Device" project was a part of the "Gujarat industrial Hackathon". My team and I completed this project in 48 Hours.

My team and I made a low-cost and portable ECG device that was easy to use by any medical personnel. Managing time in the medical field is a very herculean task because doctors/nurses have to take care of patients. If the doctor/nurse fails, the patient may suffer from a critical situation. So, Medical devices should be portable and user-friendly.

Hence, we developed a low-cost, and portable ECG device that was the size of a mobile phone. Therefore, medical personnel can carry this device with them and acquire real-time ECG waveforms of a patient to diagnose the diseases.

The whole system works on two 9V batteries which give it good portability.

PQRS waves are clearly visible in acquired data.
