Word Editor is provided by H2 Studio. This policy explains what information is processed when you use our document editor, PDF tools, conversion, scanning, advertising and subscription features. Contact: h2.tech.helper@gmail.com.
1. Documents and permissions
Documents you create or import are stored in the app’s local library. Editing and file management use that library. Camera access is requested when you choose to scan; photo or file access is used for items you select. You can change permissions in your device settings. Sharing and exporting sends your selected content to the destination you choose.
2. Online conversion and OCR
When you choose an online conversion, PDF processing or server OCR operation, the selected file and processing options are uploaded over HTTPS to our document service at app.wordeditorai.com. The service processes your request and returns a result or download link. Processing necessarily exposes the selected document’s contents to that service. Local storage does not mean that all processing happens on your device.
Server processing creates uploaded files, generated outputs and operational records. Download links have a limited lifetime; this is not a guarantee that every server log or backup is deleted at the same time. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of a server-processed file, including the approximate processing time and job identifier if available. Deleting a document from the app does not by itself delete copies already exported, shared or uploaded.
3. Usage and technical information
Firebase services help configure features and understand app operation. They may process app installation identifiers, app and device versions, usage events, IP addresses and related technical data. We use these services to operate, maintain and improve the app and investigate problems. We do not intentionally place your document contents into analytics events.
4. Advertising and your choices
The free version may display Google AdMob ads. Google and its advertising partners may process identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, ad interactions and device information to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Advertising depends on the consent and privacy choices applicable to your location. Where required, the app presents a consent form before requesting ads. You can reopen Advertising privacy options in Settings when that option is available. On iOS, cross-app tracking permission is controlled separately in system settings. Premium removes in-app advertising while the subscription entitlement is active; it does not remove information needed to validate your purchase.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple handles App Store payments. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore subscriptions and determine Premium access. Purchase-related data may include an app user or installation identifier, product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, purchase history and technical data. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple. Subscription management and refund decisions are handled through Apple.
6. Support communications
If you email h2.tech.helper@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Please send only the information needed for support. Do not send passwords or payment card details.
7. Disclosure, security and retention
Information is processed by service providers supporting document processing, infrastructure, analytics, advertising, purchases and support, and may be processed outside your country. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect security and legal rights. We use HTTPS for online document requests; no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Local files remain until you remove them or the app’s data is removed. Support, transaction and operational records may be retained as needed for their stated purpose, security, legal obligations and dispute handling. Store providers manage their own transaction records.
8. Your rights and controls
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email h2.tech.helper@gmail.com with your request. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant records. You may also contact your local data protection authority. Removing the app does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.
9. Children and changes
Word Editor is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We may update this policy when our practices or services change; the updated date will appear here.
