About Me
I'm a postdoctoral research fellow in the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory (NREL) at the UNC/NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. I'm currently working on an interactive control methodology for a robotic transfemoral prosthesis.
During my Ph.D., I specifically concentrated on estimating the user's walking state more adaptively to provide a better-synchronized control for different individuals and walking speeds.
I have always been fascinated by life-changing rehabilitation technologies like prostheses and exoskeletons. Because this technology has been used to improve global medical conditions, I believe the engineering approach is an effective solution for allowing disabled people to live a second life.
