1. Services Provided

Woodpecker Tree Services offers a range of professional tree services in Canberra, including:

• Tree removal

• Tree pruning and trimming

• Stump grinding

• Emergency tree services

• Arborist assessments

All services are subject to availability and weather conditions. We reserve the right to decline any job for safety or legal reasons.

2. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes provided are free and valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

• Final pricing may vary depending on site conditions not visible at the time of quotation.

• Any additional work or variation from the agreed scope may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

• All prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

3. Payment Terms

• Payments must be made upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made.

• We accept payments via bank transfer, EFTPOS, and cash.

• Overdue payments may incur late fees or result in debt collection proceedings.

4. Access and Site Requirements

• The client is responsible for ensuring that access to the site is available at the scheduled time.

• If access is not available, we reserve the right to reschedule or charge a call-out fee.

• Clients must inform us of any underground services (e.g., water, gas, irrigation) prior to work commencing.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.

• Services may be rescheduled due to weather or safety concerns at our discretion.

6. Liability and Insurance

• Woodpecker Tree Services is fully insured, including public liability and workers' compensation.

• While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather events, unmarked underground utilities).

• Clients must advise us of any special concerns or risks prior to the commencement of work.

7. Environmental Compliance

• We comply with ACT government tree protection laws and environmental standards.

• Any tree removal requiring council approval is the responsibility of the property owner unless arranged otherwise in writing.

8. Warranty and Guarantee

• We guarantee workmanship for 7 days following service completion for issues directly related to the work performed.

• This does not cover damage caused by misuse, weather events, or external interference.

9. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect personal information necessary to provide our services. Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law or to carry out services (e.g., council permits).
