I am Dr. Wonder Nathi Dlamini, an interdisciplinary environmental scientist, researcher, and educator specializing in environmental biotechnology, microbial ecology, functional nanomaterials, aerosol science, environmental health, and sustainable agriculture.

My research integrates fundamental scientific investigation with practical technological innovation to address challenges in environmental protection, public health, and climate resilience. My expertise encompasses antiviral and antibacterial filtration, air and water disinfection, hospital indoor-air purification, plant–microbe interactions, microbial stress tolerance, environmental monitoring, and sustainable remediation.

My scientific contributions have appeared in peer-reviewed journals including Rice, Microorganisms, Indoor Air, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, and Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy. My experience includes laboratory and pilot-scale investigations, interdisciplinary research collaboration, international scientific presentations, and the development and evaluation of environmental technologies.

Beyond research, I bring experience in experimental design, scientific analysis, interdisciplinary teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, research coordination, grant support, peer review, and international academic communication.

My professional mission is to connect scientific discovery with meaningful societal impact-advancing knowledge, developing sustainable technologies, and contributing to healthier environments and more resilient communities.
